Upcoming Bomber Hike

For the last 15 to 20 years, the November Bomber hike has been a Troop 3 tradition. Every year, the troop's experienced campers backpack into a campsite in the White Mountains and climb one of New Hampshire's highest peaks the next day. This year, the trip from will last from the afternoon of Friday, November 13th to Sunday the 15th, with a mandatory pre-departure gear inspection session on Tuesday the 10th. As the weather is likely to be cold, and the total distance ranges between 12.8 to 13.8 miles, this trip is not recommended to scouts that have been in the troop for less than three years (exceptions may be given at the Scoutmaster's discretion).
