For the last 15 to 20 years, the November Bomber hike has been a Troop 3 tradition. Every year, the troop's experienced campers backpack into a campsite in the White Mountains and climb one of New Hampshire's highest peaks the next day. This year, the trip from will last from the afternoon of Friday, November 13th to Sunday the 15th, with a mandatory pre-departure gear inspection session on Tuesday the 10th. As the weather is likely to be cold, and the total distance ranges between 12.8 to 13.8 miles, this trip is not recommended to scouts that have been in the troop for less than three years (exceptions may be given at the Scoutmaster's discretion). Information about the trip can be found below or on the "links and files" section of the website. -BC

Thank you Manchester by the Sea Police Department (Official) for coming and talking with the Troop 3 Scouts tonight. We really appreciate the time and your service Off. Locke and Lt. McCoy!
Also appreciate that we are lucky enough live in a place where dogs are the most common police call. Pictures from our first ever (?) camping trip to Mt. Cardigan. More than 20 scouts, family members and adult leaders drove up to the lodge on Saturday and hiked to the top of Firescrew and then Mt. Cardigan on Sunday. The weather was perfect and we got to enjoy some incredible views from the top.
Ipswich River Canoe trip yesterday. Water was much lower than previous trips, lots of portage spots and ducking under branches so we didn’t get as far as planned but what a day to be out paddling.
